Built-in Agents

Seven specialized AI agents for common legal workflows.

QuickContract ships with seven purpose-built AI agents, each designed for a specific task in the contract lifecycle. These agents go beyond simple prompting — they have structured inputs, domain-specific instructions, and output formats tailored to their purpose. You can also build your own agents for workflows not covered here.

The agents

Agent What it does
Deal-to-Contract Describe a deal in plain language and get a complete, ready-to-sign contract. The agent determines the appropriate contract type, structures the terms, and generates the full document.
Deal Analyzer Paste a deal or proposal and get a structured breakdown: key terms, potential risks, missing clauses, and a fairness assessment. Useful for quickly evaluating inbound offers.
Offer Evaluator Compare an offer against your requirements or standard terms. The agent highlights deviations, flags unfavorable terms, and suggests counter-proposals.
Corporate Advisor Ask corporate governance questions and get structured guidance. Covers topics like board resolutions, shareholder agreements, operating agreements, and corporate structuring.
Email Drafter Generate professional emails related to contracts and deals. Provide context (who you're writing to, what you need to say) and the agent produces a polished email ready to send.
Contract Comparer Provide two versions of a contract and get a detailed comparison. The agent identifies every change — added clauses, removed terms, modified language — and explains the implications of each.
Contract Reviewer Submit a contract for a thorough review. The agent reads every clause, flags risks, identifies ambiguities, checks for missing standard provisions, and provides a section-by-section assessment.

How to run an agent

Open the Agents panel

Click Agents in the sidebar to see all available agents — both built-in and any custom agents you've created.

Select an agent

Click the agent you want to use. Each agent's card shows a brief description of what it does and what input it expects.

Provide your input

Enter the relevant information in the input area. This might be a deal description, a contract to review, an email context, or two contracts to compare — depending on the agent. The more detail you provide, the better the output.

Review the streamed output

The agent processes your input and streams the result in real time. You can watch the output appear section by section. Once complete, copy the output, save it, or — in the case of Deal-to-Contract — send it directly to the contract editor.

Agents use your configured AI provider

All agents run through whichever AI provider you've configured in Settings. The quality and speed of agent output depends on the model you're using. For best results with complex tasks like contract review, use a capable model like Claude or GPT-4.
